We invite interested scientists to contribute with talks and posters. Especially, young scientists are encouraged to apply for a speed talk. Early application is recommended because the number of participants is limited.
The submitting of abstracts is closed.
"Voice Matters! What it takes to get science across“
One’s own voice and the way of speaking are key instruments for social contact, but also for the transfer of knowledge in scientific communication in general. It is crucial for success that the voice is used "authentically" and that the overall appearance and manner of speaking is appropriate for the speaker’s role and context, especially for presentations, teaching or lecturing. The workshop helps to strengthen rhetorical and physical resources and to raise awareness about the importance of these aspects in science communication.
We are very pleased to win Hilde Weeg for this workshop. She is an outstanding communication-coach and radiojournalist, focussing on public communication.
