Good Scientific Practice
"Scientific work is based on fundamental principles which are the same in all countries and in all scientific disciplines. Above all, honesty is opposed to oneself and others".
The DFG
According to the guidelines-for-securing-good-scientific-practice at the Friedrich Schiller University wurden four professors were appointed by the Rector as trusted persons. The trust persons work closely together with the commission set up at the Friedrich Schiller University.
The Medical Faculty chose as a trusted person:
As a trust person, he is the contact person for university members or members of staff who have to make reproaches and references to scientific misconduct and is generally available in all matters concerning good scientific practice.
With the nomination of the trust persons, the FSU follows the recommendation-of-the-Commission-"Self-Control-in-Science" of the German Research Foundation, which formulated proposals for safeguarding good scientific practice in 1998.
The core of the memorandum are 16-recommendations.
