The Department of Human Resources Management is your go-to contact for all employment-related matters throughout your journey at University Hospital in Jena. It serves as a strategic partner to the executive board and supports all organizational units. We manage both strategic and operational HR tasks, covering payroll for over 7,000 employees, including 500 trainees and participants in our voluntary services. Our goal is to shape a transparent, efficient, and legally sound HR environment—especially when it comes to recruiting new talent, supporting staff development, and fostering long-term employee retention.
