As part of the QB1, the following courses are offered:
- Lectures and seminars on "Biometry and Epidemiology" in the 6th regular semester
- Computer-assisted seminars on "Research Methods" in the 7th regular semester.
The requirements for obtaining a certificate for the cross-sectional area "Epidemiology, Medical Biometry and Computer science" are:

Attendance at 8 out of 9 seminars (6 seminars and 3 SPSS seminars), and passing the graded partial exam "Biometry and Epidemiology" in the 6th regular semester

Attendance at a minimum of 4 seminars on "Research Methods" in the 7th regular semester.
The "biometry and epidemiology" exam will take places in the 6th regular semster. An unsuccessful exam can be repeated once in the form of an examination interview.
