Josephine Storch, M.Sc.
Josephine Storch has been working as a Research Associate in the working group for healthcare claims data since February 2017 and, since March 2025, in the Research Unit for Quantitative Health Services Research at the Institute of General Practice and Family Medicine at Jena University Hospital.
She is currently working on the UFO project, which captures non-desirable treatment outcomes after surgery from the patient’s perspective, and the AVENIR project, which aims to improve healthcare of patients with and after sepsis.
At the Center for Health Services Research, she participates in the working groups Quantitative Methods in Health Services Research and Infectiology.
Josephine studied health and nursing sciences at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg.
Her research focuses on health services research using claims data, with a particular emphasis on infectious disease–related questions.
