Dr. Markus Krause has been working at the Institute of General Practice and Family Medicine at Jena University Hospital (UKJ) since 2017. He completed his specialist training in 2022 and has been working as a research associate since 2022. In 2018, he completed his doctorate in the Routine Data Working Group on the topic of “Depression in primary care: Are insured persons enrolled in the AOK Plus HzVcontract in Thuringia better cared for?” and was involved in the evaluation of the SAPV guideline through the SAVOIR project. While working, he completed his master's degree in Health Care Management (MBA) at the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences in Jena. His current focus includes the development of the teaching and research practice network.
At the same time to his scientific work at the Institute of General Practice and Family Medicine, he has been working as a general practitioner – since 2024 in his owned group practice in Eisenberg, nearby Jena.
